n The ceremony of the ablution of the bridegroom and bride on the eighth day after the marriage. This ceremony is observed four times; viz. on the eighth day, on the tenth day, on the sixteenth day, and on the completion of the month, after the marriage; and it is called, respectively, athanahana, dasanahana, solanahana, masanahana: also athabandhana, dasabandhana, salabandhana, masabandhana.
